I’ve been meaning to post mission reports from my adventures in Kerbal Space Program, but every time I sit down to write up a report I end up just playing more KSP. For that matter, as I type this I’m traversing the munar surface at around 26 m/s testing my new probe rover design (it’s quite stable, unlike every other rover I’ve ever built).
Anyways, for the sake of having something posted recently here are a few pictures of the Air Force Academy that I took last weekend when my mom was visiting. I’ve lived here for nearly four years now and hadn’t ever been by to check out their visitor displays.
Here’s the chapel from the outside, picture taken from the bottom of the trail over the hill to the visitor center:
This is the inside from the back. There was a wedding rehersal going while we were there, so this is as far forward as we could go.
And this is the pipe organ on the balcony above the entrance:
I took a picture of a window from the inside, but the picture was horribly blurry so I’m not going to post it.
It being the Air Force Academy, there were a number of airplane displays. Not all were accessible or visible, but here’s the F-15 just outside the chapel:
